Privacy & Safety
While using the website all effort will be made to provide a safe and private environment for customers to engaged in ecommerce at there leisure. Customer e-mails and IP address are automatically removed from search engines and trackers to prevent such analytics behaviours from being monitored. The members area (currently under construction) will have various options to remain anonymous while engaged on the site that will give members greater freedom to bid and buy on eBargo. Export Licence - What you need to know!
Conference & Auctions
Goods listed on our website that require no licence are either civilian machines or have been deemed as not requiring a licence. Heavy goods vehicles/ex-military and vehicles that have mounted turrets in general require as series of different licencing to be moved or imported/exported any vehicle considered to be 'Specially Designed for Military Use' must be shipped on either an 'Open General Export Licence (OGEL)' or a 'Standard Individual Export Licence (SIEL)' depending on which country they are being sent to.
To fulfil the requirements a customer 'must' complete an 'End User Agreement'.
Export licence applications generally take between 3-6 weeks to be processed and approved. Full details can be found in an introduction to UK arms exports document released on 24th January 2024.
eBargo is not responsible for items that groups of individual's or company's transfer between each other the ''buyer' and 'seller' must have a clear agreement set in place between the two party's and the agreement must state resolutions to disputes and delivery options must be clearly set out in the agreement. All party's must fully agree and no payment will be made until both party's are in agreement and eBargo will charge a small transaction fee on all transfers on the website, (please see transaction fees) the intermediation service is under development and this may change over time.
